Dermaplaning

A gentle exfoliating treatment that removes dead skin and fine vellus hair for smoother, brighter skin and a flawless make-up application.

Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliating treatment that uses a sterile surgical blade to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (often called 'peach fuzz'). The result is instantly smoother, brighter skin and a flawless base for make-up.

At Rejuven8 in Gatley, Manchester, Gemma offers standard Dermaplaning and a Lux Dermaplaning that adds steam, a mask and a relaxing shoulder and scalp massage.

Frequently asked questions

How much is dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is £45 for 30 minutes, or £55 for Lux Dermaplaning (45 minutes) which adds steam, a mask and a shoulder and scalp massage.

Will my hair grow back thicker?

No. Dermaplaning removes fine vellus hair, which grows back exactly as before — it does not change the colour, thickness or texture of your hair.

How often can I have dermaplaning?

Every three to four weeks is ideal, allowing the skin's natural cell cycle to renew between treatments.

Is there any downtime?

None. Skin may look slightly pink immediately afterwards but this settles quickly, making it a great pre-event treatment.

Where are you based?

Rejuven8 is based at 35a-39 Church Road, Gatley, Cheshire, SK8 4NG, serving Manchester, Stockport, Cheadle and the surrounding areas.
